Should we count on Google Deepmind about our PHR?

It seems putting all apples in one basket is not risky anymore, at least for the last years. As the Google services were expanding and became easier to use & to access, they were more appealing for daily use in web services. It is obvious that the cumulation of personal information on one service provider created more convenient way to use routine services. In this case, the common approach of ‘since Google knows about me…’ leads us to use Google in every web service. Over the years, Google has continued to hold most of our personal data, and we continued to expect a better return in services... But does that apply for health records?

The case is about big data after all. Considering the nature of prediction algorithms, for the data, the more is the merrier. And Google holds all the big data about us, which has been accumulated for many years. So, do the math! Logically, we can still expect the best results about health predictions out of Google. However, PHR is a bit more sacred than other records, which requires a bit more debate on ethical, technical and legal issues.

After all, this will take some time to digest. But it seems until a major breakdown or breakthrough, I guess we will accumulate (the data) and see what magic will happen next (in predicting future!).
